Trauma-Informed
Childhood Family Dysfunction
Non-Blank Slate Therapy
Your reactions and moods deserve understanding and empathy.
Thoughts, feelings, and reactions from childhood and past events can be triggered by anything with even a slight resemblance to the original. If you don't know your own triggers, it's genuinely hard to regulate through them.
A mood settles in and won't shake off for hours or days at a time, and it starts affecting your relationships and your productivity.
A reaction that felt justified in the moment, but in hindsight was out of proportion to the situation.
Suddenly feeling anxious, threatened, scared, or depressed, in what seems like out of nowhere.
A few good weeks, then a crash: where did our connection go? What happened to my confidence? Why do I feel this horrible?
This comes up a lot — in marriages, relationships, work, or when you're alone. With trauma-informed care, your reactions and moods are treated with empathy and understood, not judged.
Rules and Roles that helped during childhood, now it feels unsafe to live without them.
Feeling guilty for saying no. For making mistakes. For the thing you said wrong at a social event three years ago. For having your own priorities. Always the hero, the responsible one, the caregiver — or always the one being blamed.

If you're seriously burnt out and unsure how to change, therapy can help identify if you're playing a role, where that role came from, and how to shift into healthier balance.
I won't sit across from you with a clipboard and an expressionless face.
